The Work Performance Center, Inc. (WPC) assists employers reduce on-the-job injuries and workers’ compensation costs.
Through both ergonomic analysis and rehabilitation (physical & occupational therapy) services, WPC provides vital information to the employer, the physician and the insurance company. This speeds medical decision making and intervention. Communication is the key to successful work injury management and cost containment.

routine job analyses, WPC identifies risk factors for a specific job.
These risk factors can be modified, or eliminated, to prevent future injuries and associated costs.

programs are exercise-based, with special emphasis directed to the worker's

Job simulations are completed in the clinic under professional therapists’ supervision. Injured workers progress and return to work faster. The direct and indirect cost savings improve the employer’s bottom line and competitive advantage.

communication is maintained with the physician and the insurance company.
Both the physician and the insurance company receive pertinent information regarding the injured worker's abilities and limitations and how these match directly to his/her specific job. Timely communication with all parties insures prompt processing and appropriate medical management.
As an injured worker progresses, information regarding their work status can assist the employer place the worker on appropriate modified duty, thereby reducing loss time.
The Work Performance Center, Inc. is owned by Suzanne Wagar, PT and operated by Suzanne Wagar and Patricia Carroll, OTR each with 17 years experience in work injury management and ergonomic solutions. Our clinics are staffed with professional personnel who work as a team with each employer, their physicians and insurance companies.
